Bill Powers, CPA (active)

Bill is a Partner and leads the San Francisco office.  Prior to joining Standish in September 2011, Bill was the CFO of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco (acting).  Bill also served as CFO and COO of Hall Capital Partners, LLC for many years.  Prior to Hall, Bill was  CFO of The San Francisco Foundation, Controller of Pepsi Cola Bottling Company of San Francisco and an Audit Manager of Hood and Strong CPAs.  During his career Bill has overseen the financial operations of  private equity funds, real estate funds, foundations and endowments and fund of funds.

Bill earned an MBA from Golden Gate University and a BS from St. Mary's College.  Bill is a Certified Public Accountant (active).
